It is an exciting time for Dalton State students in the School of Education.
Recently students from the School of Education successfully submitted their EdTPA Portfolios, signifying that they have completed their internship semester, coursework, the Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators, and the Education, Development, and Training Program.
The EdTPA is an educational Teacher Performance Assessment used by more than 600 teacher preparation programs. It is performance based and subject specific, used to measure and support the teacher's skills in a classroom.
“They are so excited to complete this undertaking and begin the next step of successful teaching!” said Dr. Jacquelyn Mesco, assistant professor of education.
